Mobility at the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Art College in Suceava, Romania
The third transnational activity of the Erasmus project entitled “Friend me, don’t bully me!” took place between March 7-11, 2022, at the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Art College in Suceava, Romania.
The transnational meetings were attended by students and teachers from Brezice Elementary School – Slovenia, Haci Suleyman Cakir Kiz Anadolu Lisesi – Turkey, 1st Vocational High School of Vrontados, Chios – Greece, IIS Acciaiuoli – Einaudi di Ortona – Italy and the Art College “Ciprian Porumbescu”, Suceava.
The main objective of the project is to find methods and techniques to combat the phenomenon of bullying by developing intercultural dialogue and art as a democratic principle, in order to discourage discrimination awareness of its negative consequences, encourage social inclusion, tolerance through the use of innovative methods: theater, exhibitions, debates. Moreover, the students had the opportunity to get to know the countries where their partners come from, with their traditions and customs.
During the five day mobility in Suceava, participants from partner schools carried out activities specific to the project. They visited the school, the Museum of Bucovina, the Museum of Natural Sciences, Suceava Principality Fortress, the Lucia Condrea Egg Museum in Moldovița, the Voroneț monastery, the Cacica salt mine. The Mobility from Suceava was entitled “Drama against bullying”. There were theater workshops in English, the participants saw the play “The Little Print”, adapted from Antoine de Saint – Exupéry’s book at the “Matei Vişniec” Theater in Suceava They also had meetings with Mrs. Ileana Iacob , representative of the Suceava County Police Inspectorate and Mr. Daniel Davidel, representative of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, Ms. Ruxandra Sevastin and Mrs. Lena Ailinca from “Save the Children” Suceava- Romania.
